The national standard drafted by Zhilun New Materials has been officially released

Technology leading standards

Recently, the national standard "Determination of Chlorine Content in Plastic Epoxy Resin Part 3: Total Chlorine" (GB/T 4618.3-2026) drafted by Zhilun New Materials has been officially released. The standard project number is 20240004-T-606, under the jurisdiction of TC15 (National Plastic Standardization Technical Committee), implemented by TC15SC11 (Thermosetting Plastics Branch of National Plastic Standardization Technical Committee), and supervised by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. This standard has been introduced to further improve the testing specifications for epoxy resin and assist in the high-quality development of domestic industry standardization.

The total chlorine content in epoxy resin is directly related to product performance and application safety. The development and implementation of this standard aim to standardize the control indicators of total chlorine content through precise measurement methods. Excessive chlorine content can lead to a decrease in the thermal deformation temperature of cured products, a significant increase in medium loss, and thus affect the stability of downstream products. Especially in high-end fields such as electronic information, integrated circuits, LCD screens, printed circuit boards, etc., electronic grade epoxy resins have more stringent requirements for purity and chlorine content.

Zhilun New Materials has participated in the research and development of deep layout standards, and has participated in the compilation of 4 national standards, of which 3 (including this new standard) have been officially released.

The national standard "Plastic Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) Molding and Extrusion Materials Part 2: Sample Preparation and Performance Determination" (GB/T 46197.2-2025) was officially released on August 29, 2025, and will be implemented from March 1, 2026, providing a key technical basis for the application and promotion of PEEK materials.

The national standard "Determination of Crystallization Tendency of Plastic Liquid Epoxy Resin" (GB/T 46317-2025) was officially released on October 5, 2025, and will be implemented from May 1, 2026. It provides a scientific and unified testing method for the industry and will effectively promote the quality upgrading and standardized development of the epoxy resin industry.

The national standard "Determination of Chlorine Content in Plastic Epoxy Resin Part 3: Total Chlorine" (GB/T 4618.3-2026) was officially released on May 25, 2026, aiming to standardize the control indicators of total chlorine content through precise measurement methods.

As one of the drafting units of the standard, Zhilun New Materials has deeply participated in the research, experimental verification, and text compilation of the standard with its technical accumulation and research and development strength in the field of epoxy resin.
