16On April 15th, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation organized an online meeting for the review of group standards such as "High Purity Low Chlorine Bisphenol A-Type Epoxy Resin" and "High Purity Low Chlorine Bisphenol F-Type Epoxy Resin".


At the review meeting, the drafting unit introduced the background and significance of the two group standards, the process of standard preparation, the main technical requirements, the process of indicator verification, and the handling of public solicitation of opinions. The application of epoxy resin in electronics and electrical engineering is gradually expanding, and downstream requirements for the performance of epoxy resin are constantly increasing. In addition to fast curing, low stress, and heat resistance, high purification and low chlorine are also required. Excessive chlorine content has a negative impact on the electrical insulation and anti-corrosion properties of epoxy resin cured products, leading to the emergence of high-purity and low chlorine epoxy resin products.
The review expert group conducted a careful and meticulous review of the two standards, "High Purity Low Chlorine Bisphenol A-type Epoxy Resin" and "High Purity Low Chlorine Bisphenol F-type Epoxy Resin", and questioned and discussed the English names, technical requirements, viscosity ranges, test methods and inspection rules, product market conditions, and enterprise indicators of the two group standard texts. The drafting unit responded to the questions raised by the expert group. After discussion, the review expert group believed that the standard was comprehensive, with reasonable main technical indicators, progressiveness, innovative and practical, and agreed to pass the review of two group standards, namely, High Purity Low Chlorine Bisphenol A Epoxy Resin and High Purity Low Chlorine Bisphenol F Epoxy Resin.
